What is a personal star map?
A Star Map shows the unique placement of the stars as they align in the sky at the time and place of your choice (you can choose any date in the future or the past.) Each Star Map displays the entire dome of the sky as if you were to look straight up above you at that moment in time (the edge of the circle represents the horizon).
Are your maps scientifically accurate?
Yes. All map elements are plotted with the highest known scientific accuracy. We use an astronomically verified algorithm to generate your unique star map. Our database is formed of hundreds of thousands of stars accurately positioned from the European Space Agency's database of stars. Our maps are plotted out of thousands of stars. Along with the stars, our software plots the most known constellations.
Can I download the map and print it on my own?
Yes! A digital download of a full-size printable file is also available, you just need to select the ‘Digital Print’ as the product you want before adding your Star Map to the cart. the Digital Print it's a high resolution (300 DPI) digital version of the star map and it's available in all 3 sizes. After placing your order, you will be able to download and save the full-size digital file in JPG format that is ready for printing. You could then print your map at a local print shop or upload it to an online printing service.
Can I order a Star Map for a future occasion?
Yes. Our integration of sophisticated algorithms allows us to predict the accurate placement of the stars, at any place on earth, at any given time.
How can I apply a discount code when paying with PayPal?
When you make a purchase with PayPal, you will be redirected back to the store checkout to confirm the order and choose shipping before you complete you order. In the Shipping selection page of the checkout, you will be able to enter in a discount code before completing the order.
What are your prices?
Our prices depend on the product you choose and its size, whether you want it framed by us, and other factors such as applied promotions. We recommend checking our map customization page for the full accurate prices (you'll see the prices as you choose the specific product in the ‘Size’ drop-down menu).
I haven't received a confirmation email, how can I know if my order has been received?
If your email is a Gmail account, you should check the ‘Promotions’ tab. Sometimes an email could land in your ‘Promotions’ tab even if it’s not a promotional email (this is a Google feature that we have no control over.) If after checking the ‘Promotions’ tab you still don’t see an email from us that confirms your purchase, please contact us at support@uniqagifts.com
Is the frame included?
We offer different products in different sizes. If you want a framed poster, just pick the product “Framed Poster” before adding it to the cart. All ‘Framed Posters’ are already framed and ready to use (hanging hardware included).
A digital download of a full-size printable file is also available and can be a great choice if you want to print the star map yourself.
Where can I find a fitting frame if not buying from you?
Our sizes (8x10 inches, 12x16 inches, and 16x20 inches) are US standard paper sizes, you should be able to find frames at online stores like Amazon.com by searching for the appropriate size.
I'm sending a gift so I don't want the invoice in the package, can you exclude it?
Most of our orders are for gifts, therefore, we don't include anything else in the package, just the product you chose and the packing slip. Any information about your order will be sent via email.
Can I change my customized star map after ordering?
Since we aim to deliver to our customers as fast as possible, we are always working on shortening the processing time of orders. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible to make after the order has been placed. However, in certain cases and depending on the volume of orders, sometimes we can make changes so that some short-term adjustments are often still possible. To make such an adjustment we recommend that you will email our support team as soon as possible at support@uniqagifts.com. You should title your email “request for order adjustment order #000000” (make sure to include your order number.)

Do you ship to my country?
We deliver products within the U.S. However, we are currently working on expanding our shipping network to deliver internationally.
